Becoming a Mentor

Becoming a mentor with EON is a great way to get involved with the College of Engineering. You can gain a leadership position and help show the incoming class that the best idea they made was coming to Penn State. Put all that PSU knowledge to good and pass on the secrets to success. You can help transition some slightly scared and totally pumped high school graduate to a super successful Penn State freshman.

What’s in it for me?

You get to be a part of the engineering network! A mentor position provides a great leadership experience that you can add to your resume or talk about in an interview. You get closer interaction with engineering professors and faculty. Orientation day does not conflict with WEPO, MEPO, or SHOtime, so you can participate in them as well. Better yet, you get to meet fellow engineers and pass down your Penn State legacy.
